Shutterfeed Studio
Before You Brief Us

What to Expect When You Work With Us

Transparency about how we operate, how we price, and what makes this different from hiring a photographer.

We're a Specialist Studio, Not a General Photographer

A general photographer shoots everything — weddings, products, events, portraits, food. Their versatility is their value proposition.

Shutterfeed shoots one thing: manufacturing companies. That focus means something specific. It means we understand industrial environments — the lighting challenges of a dark forge, the safety protocols of a live production floor, the visual language that export buyers and tender committees respond to. It means we know what a machine needs to look like to signal precision, and what a facility shot needs to communicate to an international buyer who has never visited.

When you hire a generalist for industrial work, you get technically correct photographs. When you hire a specialist, you get visual assets engineered for business outcomes.

How We Price

We do not publish fixed prices because every manufacturing facility is different. A single-building component manufacturer in Ambattur has different needs than a multi-facility export manufacturer in Oragadam. Fixed pricing would either overcharge one or underserve the other.

What we can tell you: most of our clients invest between ₹1.5 lakhs and ₹5 lakhs for a comprehensive visual production project. The variables that affect your number are:

  • Number of shoot days required
  • Facility size, complexity, and number of locations
  • Number of services included (photography, film, headshots, process documentation, etc.)
  • Whether you need ongoing retainer support or a one-time project

We are transparent about pricing from the first conversation. You will know the full investment before we proceed. No surprises.

Our Commitment

These are not aspirations. They are how we operate on every project.

  • Every shoot is personally directed by the founder — you will not be handed off to a junior crew
  • We work around your production schedule. Zero disruption to your operations
  • You own full commercial usage rights to every image and film we produce for you
  • Delivery within the agreed timeline. We do not miss deadlines without prior communication
  • If you are not satisfied with the output, we will reshoot at no additional cost

Payment Terms

We operate on a simple two-part payment structure:

60%

Before Production Begins

Confirms your booking, covers pre-production planning and the site recce.

40%

Before Final Delivery

Due before edited assets are released. Invoiced after you approve the edit.

For Visual Partnership Retainer clients, we invoice monthly at the beginning of each production cycle.
